Each October, Sejah Farm in St. Croix hosts the vibrant Bush Cook / Chef Cook Week, a beloved farm-to-table festival that brings together chefs, farmers, families, and food lovers from across the Virgin Islands. This multi-day event showcases the richness of VI-grown ingredients through cooking competitions, educational workshops, and unforgettable culinary experiences.
It’s more than just food, it’s about culture, sustainability, and connection to the land. Whether you’re a foodie or a curious visitor, Bush Cook / Chef Cook Week is a must-experience celebration of island life.
Sejah Farms host farmers conferences, engaging with Farmers from other Caribbean Islands and the United states, and continue the education for schools and the public.
HIGHLIGHTS
Community Day: School teams and child chefs compete in friendly cook-offs while guests enjoy demos and farm tours.
Bush Cook Competition: Over 20 chefs prepare dishes using traditional methods and fresh local produce, with tastings and live entertainment throughout the day.
Farm-to-Table Dinner: A six-course feast crafted by top chefs using ingredients harvested right from the farm, a true taste of the Virgin Islands.
