Diverse sea-life abounds off the North Shore due to the pristine reefs, warm waters and close proximity of the Puerto Rico Trench (which reaches depths more than 5 miles, or 26,000 feet at its deepest point), so watch for sea turtles, dolphins and, if you’re lucky, humpback whales migrating by!
