If you’re lucky enough to be on St. Croix this July 4th, plan to spend the day in Freedom City (that’s Frederiksted) where there are always activities planned. You can contact each Frederiksted business for more details about their plans, but in general you can head out to the waterfront in Frederiksted for free live music performances, and a fireworks display hosted by the Frederiksted Economic Development Association (FEDA). Music and street vendors typically start at 3pm with the fireworks display starting at 8pm. If you’re out east, Tamarind Reef Resort has also put on quite a fireworks display in recent years. The fireworks are preceded by a huge all-day beach party with live music, BBQ vendors, and more. Check out our July Calendar of Events for details on where you can find fireworks displays this year!
